In Tuesday's non-league outing, the North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) basketball squad felled the host Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA), by a margin of 61-53.

The Trojans (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Wildcats go into the Lackawanna 2 outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, Western Wayne was beaten by Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA), 56-31, in a league outing.

The Cavaliers now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Scranton for a Lackawanna 1 outing on Friday, January 13. Scranton Prep will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 60-48 league loss to West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Knights record now stands at 3-7.
