The Piscataway Chiefs (Piscataway, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Somerset Tech Jaguars (Bridgewater, NJ), 68-61 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Chiefs (4-8) will now prepare for their test against South River (South River, NJ). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 14-0 record. In their last test, South River got by Carteret (Carteret, NJ), 72-42, in a league test.
The Jaguars now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Dunellen for a Greater Middlesex - Gold test on Wednesday, January 11. Somerset Tech will encounter a Destroyers squad coming off a 54-46 league win over Perth Amboy Vo-Tech (Perth Amboy, NJ). The Destroyers record now stands at 2-6.
