Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting William Allen Canaries (Allentown, PA), 68-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pocono Mountain West upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 1-9.

Next up, the Canaries play the Allentown Central Catholic Vikings (Allentown, PA) in a Lehigh Valley bout, on Friday, January 13. William Allen will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 53-52 non-league win over East Stroudsburg North (Dingmans Ferry, PA).
