Rapid City Christian Comets (Rapid City, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD), 74-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rapid City Christian upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Comets travel to Newcastle (Newcastle, WY) to play the Dogies in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Dogies go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Newcastle lost 64-21 in their recent non-league bout against Wright (Wright, WY)

Next up, the Scoopers play the Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD) in a AA bout, on Friday, January 13. Sturgis Brown will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Cobblers go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 55-50 league loss to Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD).
