The Alcorn Central Bears (Glen, MS) basketball crushed the visiting Hatley Tigers (Amory, MS), 63-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bears (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Water Valley (Water Valley, MS). The Blue Devils go into the 3A Region 1 test with a 0-5 record.
The Tigers now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Noxubee County for a 3A Region 4 test on Friday, January 13. Hatley will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 74-32 league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 13-2.
