Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks (Minneapolis, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN), 91-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Minnehaha Academy upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Red Hawks travel to Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN) to play the Lions in a AA Section 5 bout on Thursday, January 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Providence Academy won 87-53 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain Iron-Buhl (Mountain Iron, MN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) in a AAAA Section 2 bout, on Thursday, January 12. Apple Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Sabers go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 49-38 league loss to Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN).
