Burlingame Bearcats (Burlingame, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hartford Jaguars (Hartford, KS), 51-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Burlingame upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Lebo (Lebo, KS) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 9-0. Lebo won 46-38 in their recent non-league bout against Madison (Madison, KS)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Marais des Cygnes Valley Trojans (Melvern, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Hartford will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 66-52 non-league win over Southern Coffey County (LeRoy, KS).
