The Nantahala Hawks basketball team (Topton, NC), was overwhelmed 90-10 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC)
The Braves now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hiwassee Dam for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 17.
The Hawks (0-9) will now prepare for their battle against Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Maroon Devils come into the 1A Conference 43 - Big battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Swain County was overwhelmed by Franklin (Franklin, NC), 48-36, in a non-league battle.
