The Clear Creek-Amana Clippers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Mt. Vernon Mustangs to 49 in the Clippers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Clippers now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Center Point-Urbana for a WAMAC - West contest on Friday, January 13. Clear Creek-Amana will battle a Stormin' Pointers team coming off a 44-33 league loss to Marion (Marion, IA). The Stormin' Pointers record now stands at 8-4.
The Mustangs (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Marion (Marion, IA). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Marion triumphed over Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA), 44-33, in a league contest.
