Virginia High School Basketball - Collegiate tipped by Saint John Paul the Great Catholic

January 10, 2023: Dumfries, VA 22026

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves basketball team scored a tight 45-38 triumph over the Collegiate Cougars.

In their next game, the Wolves meet the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles (Fredericksburg, VA) in a VISAA Division II match, on Thursday, January 12. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 52-20 non-league win over Fredericksburg Academy (Fredericksburg, VA).

With the defeat, Collegiate moves to 4-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Steward (Richmond, VA) to meet the Spartans in a non-league match on Friday, January 13. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 11-4. Steward won 53-23 in their recent league match against Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA)
