Kansas High School Basketball - Lyndon can't hold off Council Grove

The Council Grove Braves basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Lyndon Tigers to 35 in the Braves non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Braves now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Heights for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Council Grove will battle a Vikings team coming off a 44-28 non-league loss to West Franklin (Pomona, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 1-8.
The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Osage City (Osage City, KS). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Osage City nudged Chase County (Cottonwood Falls, KS), 63-28, in a non-league contest.
