The Lake Gibson Braves (Lakeland, FL) basketball knocked off the host DME Academy Blue DME Academy (Daytona Beach, FL), 50-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Braves (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Haines City (Haines City, FL). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Haines City went down by Lake Wales (Lake Wales, FL), 43-41, in a non-league test.
The DME Academy now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to McKeel Academy for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. DME Academy Blue will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 61-36 league loss to Mulberry (Mulberry, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-5.
