Liberty Lightning (North Liberty, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Dubuque Senior Rams (Dubuque, IA), 51-45 in a league bout.
With the win, Liberty upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Lightning host Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA) to play the Wahawks in a Mississippi Valley bout on Friday, January 13. The Wahawks go into the bout with a record of 11-1. Waterloo West won 63-34 in their recent league bout against Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA)
Next up, the Rams play the Washington Warriors (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a Mississippi Valley bout, on Friday, January 13. Dubuque Senior will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 63-34 league loss to Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA).
