Kentucky High School Basketball - South Warren can't hold off Edmonson County

The Edmonson County Wildcats basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting South Warren Spartans to 36 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Metcalfe County for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Edmonson County will battle a Hornets team coming off a 48-38 league win over Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 7-3.
The Spartans (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). The Gators come into the District 14 contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Greenwood edged John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY), 67-64, in a non-league contest.
