Louisiana High School Basketball - Tara holds off GEO Next Generation

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Tara Trojans (Baton Rouge, LA) and the host GEO Next Generation Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA), saw Tara's basketball squad hold off GEO Next Generation by a tally of 41-39.

With the victory, Tara improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Brusly (Brusly, LA) to confront the Panthers in a 4A District 6 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Brusly won 58-29 in their recent non-league challenge against White Castle (White Castle, LA)

Next, the Tigers encounter the Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 12. GEO Next Generation will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record.
