North Tonawanda Lumberjacks (North Tonawanda, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Grand Island Vikings (Grand Island, NY), 55-26 in a league bout.

With the win, North Tonawanda upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Lumberjacks travel to Nardin Academy (Buffalo, NY) to clash with the Gators in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Nardin Academy lost 46-42 in their recent league challenge against Sacred Heart Academy (Buffalo, NY)

Next up, the Vikings play the Niagara Falls Wolverines (Niagara Falls, NY) in a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Grand Island will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
