The Hoover Huskies basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Marshalltown Bobcats to 62 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Dodge for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Hoover will play a Dodgers squad coming off a 62-9 non-league win over Des Moines East (Des Moines, IA). The Dodgers record now stands at 5-3.

Next up, the Bobcats play the Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Marshalltown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 76-52 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA).
