Nebraska High School Basketball - Howells-Dodge tops Lutheran-Northeast

Howells-Dodge Jaguars (Howells, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lutheran-Northeast Eagles (Norfolk, NE), 47-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Howells-Dodge upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 5-4. Wisner-Pilger won 46-30 in their recent league bout against Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (Humphrey, NE)

Next up, the Eagles play the Battle Creek Braves (Battle Creek, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Lutheran-Northeast will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 45-38 non-league win over West Point-Beemer (West Point, NE).
