The North Cedar Knights basketball team (Stanwood, IA), was overwhelmed 51-26 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Maquoketa Valley Wildcats (Delhi, IA)
The Wildcats now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Buchanan for a Tri-Rivers - West battle on Friday, January 13. Maquoketa Valley will confront a Buccaneers team coming off a 66-26 non-league win over Easton Valley (Preston, IA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 9-3.
The Knights (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 5-9 record.
