Springville Orioles (Springville, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Midland Eagles (Wyoming, IA), 71-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Springville upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Orioles travel to Central City (Central City, IA) to clash with the Wildcats in a Tri-Rivers - West bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-12.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Clayton-Ridge Eagles (Guttenburg, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
