Ohio High School Basketball - Pickerington North topped by Newark

The Newark Wildcats basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Pickerington North Panthers to 37 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lancaster for a Ohio Capital - Buckeye contest on Friday, January 13. Newark will battle a Golden Gales team coming off a 71-7 non-league win over Westland (Galloway, OH). The Golden Gales record now stands at 7-8.
The Panthers (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Gahanna, OH). The Golden Lions come into the Ohio Capital - Ohio contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Lincoln was defeated by Reynoldsburg (Reynoldsburg, OH), 50-40, in a non-league contest.
