In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Onalaska Hilltoppers (Onalaska, WI) basketball squad edged the visiting Prairie du Chien Blackhawks (Prairie du Chien, WI), by a margin of 48-45.
The Hilltoppers (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against La Crosse Central (La Crosse, WI). The Riverhawks go into the Mississippi Valley outing with a 5-8 record.
The Blackhawks now own a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lancaster for a Southwest Wisconsin outing on Friday, January 13. Prairie du Chien will clash with a Flying Arrows squad coming off a 58-46 non-league loss to Darlington (Darlington, WI). The Flying Arrows record now stands at 6-7.
