Michigan High School Basketball - St. Catherine of Siena Academy winner over Powers Catholic

The St. Catherine of Siena Academy (Wixom, MI) basketball felled the visiting Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI), 50-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI). The Knights go into the Catholic C-D D test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Shrine Catholic thwarted Cabrini (Allen Park, MI), 62-45, in a league test.
The Chargers now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a Saginaw Valley test on Friday, January 13. Powers Catholic will encounter a Oilers squad coming off a 41-31 league win over Central (Bay City, MI). The Oilers record now stands at 8-2.
