South Fork Ponies (Kincaid, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tri-City/Sangamon Valley Storm (Niantic, IL), 53-39 in a league bout.

With the win, South Fork upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Ponies travel to Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 12-6.

Next up, the Storm play the Mt. Olive Wildcats (Mt. Olive, IL) in a MSM bout, on Thursday, January 12. Tri-City/Sangamon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 52-34 non-league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, IL).
