The Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion (Durham, NC) basketball felled the host Trinity Academy Tigers (Raleigh, NC), 34-20 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lion (8-2) will now prepare for their test against O'Neal (Southern Pines, NC). The Falcons go into the NCISAA Tri-TAC test with a 15-2 record. In their last test, O'Neal thwarted GRACE Christian (Raleigh, NC), 57-23, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host St. David's for a NCISAA Capital City test on Friday, January 13. Trinity Academy will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 52-12 non-league win over Fayetteville Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 9-2.
