Beloit Trojans (Beloit, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Chapman Fighting Irish (Chapman, KS), 48-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Beloit upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season.

Next up, the Fighting Irish play the Concordia Panthers (Concordia, KS) in a bout, on Friday, January 13. Chapman will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
