Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) and the visiting Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM), saw Espanola Valley's basketball squad wallop Capital by a tally of 61-40.
With the win, Espanola Valley advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Sundevils host Shiprock (Shiprock, NM) to encounter the Chieftains in a non-league test on Friday, January 13. The Chieftains go into the test with a record of 3-6.
The Jaguars now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Rio Grande for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17.
