In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Rio Rancho Rams basketball team scored a tight 50-47 triumph over the Eldorado Golden Eagles.
In their next game, the Rams meet the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 13. Rio Rancho will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record.
With the defeat, Eldorado moves to 5-4 on the year. The Golden eagles host Cibola (Albuquerque, NM) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 11.
