South Sumter Raiders (Bushnell, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Eustis Panthers (Eustis, FL), 30-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Sumter upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to The Villages Charter (The Villages, FL) to clash with the Buffalo in a bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Buffalo go into the bout with a record of 9-1. The Villages Charter won 63-33 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity Catholic (Ocala, FL)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Cocoa Tigers (Cocoa, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Eustis will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 62-33 league win over Space Coast (Cocoa, FL).
