The Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA) basketball nipped the host John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA), 43-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mavericks (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record.
The Justices now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Cristo Rey for a test on Thursday, January 12. John Marshall will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 52-29 non-league win over Summit Christian Academy (Yorktown, VA). The Royals record now stands at 2-1.
