In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) basketball squad edged the visiting Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), by a count of 31-30.
The Bulldawgs (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Deming (Deming, NM). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Deming was tipped by Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM), 72-12, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Los Lunas for a non-league outing on Friday, January 13. Hobbs will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 68-33 non-league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 3-9.
