New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Brownsboro Bears (Brownsboro, TX), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles face the Sabine Cardinals (Gladewater, TX) in a 4A Region 2 District 15 challenge, on Friday, January 27. New Diana will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.

The Bears now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mineola for a 4A Region 2 District 14 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. Brownsboro will face a Yellowjackets team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-2.
