Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vipers confront the Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 13. Vandegrift will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Hays (Buda, TX).

The Rattlers now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Davenport for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17.
