Virginia High School Basketball - Armstrong topples J.R. Tucker

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA) basketball squad beat the visiting J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA), by a margin of 75-60.

The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Varina (Richmond, VA). The Blue Devils go into the Capital outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Varina defeated Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA), 76-43, in a league outing.

The Tigers now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Glen Allen for a Colonial outing on Tuesday, January 16. J.R. Tucker will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 53-51 league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-6.
