The Charlevoix Rayders (Charlevoix, MI) basketball knocked off the host St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI), 69-55 in Wednesday's league test.
The Rayders (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Kalkaska (Kalkaska, MI). The Blazers go into the Lake Michigan test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Kalkaska went down by Boyne City (Boyne City, MI), 49-39, in a league test.
The Gladiators now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Harbor Springs for a Lake Michigan test on Tuesday, January 16. St. Francis will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 68-43 league win over East Jordan (East Jordan, MI). The Rams record now stands at 6-4.
