The Huron River Rats basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Chelsea Bulldogs to 48 in the River Rats non-league victory on Wednesday.

The River Rats now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pioneer for a Southeastern - Red contest on Friday, January 12. Huron will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 62-50 non-league loss to Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-1.

The Bulldogs (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Tecumseh (Tecumseh, MI). The Indians come into the Southeastern - White contest with a 8-1 record.
