Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Workman Lobos (City of Industry, CA) and the visiting Duarte Falcons (Duarte, CA), saw Workman's basketball squad knock off Duarte by a tally of 40-27.

With the victory, Workman improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Lobos travel to Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA) to play the Dons in a Montview challenge on Friday, January 12. The Dons come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Sierra Vista lost 55-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Marquez (Huntington Park, CA)

The Falcons (7-14) will now prepare for their battle against Azusa (Azusa, CA). The Aztecs come into the Montview battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Azusa dropped by Nogales (La Puente, CA), 54-26, in a league battle.
