The Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT) basketball felled the host Platt RVT Panthers (Milford, CT), 62-43 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Gladiators (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT). The Hawks go into the Connecticut Technical - Central bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Vinal RVT was knocked off by Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT), 74-42, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Wilcox RVT Wildcats (Meriden, CT) in a Connecticut Technical - South bout, on Friday, January 12. Platt RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 55-50 non-league loss to Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT).
