The Howell Rebels basketball team scored 72 points and held the host West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates to 53 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Rebels now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middletown North for a Shore A - North contest on Thursday, January 11. Howell will battle a Lions team coming off a 65-62 non-league loss to Middletown South (Middletown, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 5-6.
The Pirates (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ewing (Trenton, NJ). The Blue Devils enter the Colonial Valley contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Ewing ran past Steinert (Hamilton, NJ), 69-46, in a league contest.
