In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Joliet Central Steelmen basketball team scored a good 56-46 triumph over the Sandburg Eagles.
In their next game, the Steelmen meet the Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie match, on Friday, January 12. Joliet Central will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 13-6 record after their 65-64 non-league win over Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL).
With the defeat, Sandburg moves to 8-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Bremen (Midlothian, IL) to meet the Braves in a non-league match on Saturday, January 13. The Braves enter the match with a record of 5-14. Bremen lost 51-16 in their recent league match against Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL)
