In Wednesday's league match, the host Liberty Patriots basketball team scored a good 72-53 triumph over the Spring Valley Grizzlies.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Durango Trailblazers (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A Southern match, on Wednesday, January 17. Liberty will attempt to move on its 11-1 season record.

With the defeat, Spring Valley moves to 3-9 on the year. The Grizzlies host Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV) to meet the Mountain Lions in a non-league match on Friday, January 12. The Mountain Lions enter the match with a record of 9-4. Sierra Vista won 78-36 in their recent league match against Amplus Academy (Las Vegas, NV)
