The Lindenwold Lions (Lindenwold, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Sterling Silver Knights (Somerdale, NJ), 62-60 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Lions (3-7) will now prepare for their test against West Deptford (Westville, NJ). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, West Deptford got by Audubon (Audubon, NJ), 52-47, in a non-league test.

The Silver Knights now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Gloucester City for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. Sterling will battle a Lions team coming off a 83-41 non-league loss to Haddonfield (Haddonfield, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 5-4.
