In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Union City Indians basketball team scored a decisive 56-32 triumph over the Anderson Prep Academy Jets.

In their next game, the Indians meet the Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 13. Union City will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 6-12 record after their 45-33 non-league loss to Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN).
