The Howell Rebels basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Central Regional Golden Eagles to 32 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Rebels now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Middletown North for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 11. Howell will meet a Lions team coming off a 33-25 non-league loss to Middletown South (Middletown, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 5-6.
The Golden Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Monroe Township was outscored by Colonia (Colonia, NJ), 56-47, in a non-league contest.
