Illinois High School Basketball - Dwight fells Reed-Custer

Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), 42-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Dwight upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Trojans travel to St. Bede (Peru, IL) to clash with the Bruins in a Tri-County bout on Thursday, January 11. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 14-7. St. Bede won 55-47 in their recent league bout against Marquette (Ottawa, IL)
Next up, the Comets clash with the Wilmington Wildcats (Wilmington, IL) in a Illinois Central 8 bout, on Thursday, January 11. Reed-Custer will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 31-26 league win over Streator (Streator, IL).
