The Midland Park Panthers (Midland Park, NJ) basketball nipped the host Harrison Blue Tide (Harrison, NJ), 39-37 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Panthers (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Park Ridge (Park Ridge, NJ). The Owls go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Park Ridge got by Leonia (Leonia, NJ), 63-43, in a non-league test.
The Blue Tide now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lyndhurst for a North Jersey - National test on Friday, January 12. Harrison will encounter a Golden Bears squad coming off a 58-20 non-league win over Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ). The Golden Bears record now stands at 8-3.
