Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lindenwold Lions (Lindenwold, NJ), 47-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Triton upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Pitman (Pitman, NJ) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Pitman won 62-35 in their recent non-league bout against Overbrook (Pine Hill, NJ)

Next up, the Lions play the West Deptford Eagles (Westville, NJ) in a Colonial bout, on Friday, January 12. Lindenwold will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 46-44 league win over Audubon (Audubon, NJ).
