The Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks basketball team (Marysville, WA), was overwhelmed 78-34 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA)
The Bearcats now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountlake Terrace for a 2A/3A Wesco battle on Friday, January 12. Monroe will confront a Hawks team coming off a 80-16 league loss to Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-5.
The Tomahawks (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Mount Vernon was overwhelmed by Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA), 54-47, in a league battle.
