St. Croix Prep Lions (Stillwater, MN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mounds Park Academy/Gentry Academy (St. Paul, MN), 70-31 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Croix Prep upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Lions host St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, MN) to clash with the Crusaders in a AA Section 4 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 8-7. St. Croix Lutheran won 72-16 in their recent non-league bout against Nova Classical Academy (St. Paul, MN)
