With the victory, Calaveras improves its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Red Hawks host Sonora (Sonora, CA) to play the Wildcats in a challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Sonora won 40-18 in their recent league challenge against Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA)

Next up, the Hawks play the Galt Warriors (Galt, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 12. Liberty Ranch will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 48-19 league loss to El Dorado (Placerville, CA).
